SAFECON San Diego Internship

Hello Everyone,
I just finished a wonderful opportunity to work as an intern for the SAFECON San Diego event, while I was there I was a photographer, journalist as well as a communications director. It was quiet a challenging week, but I was so excited to be apart of it. My school San Diego Christian College did very well enough to go to nationals! These are some of my favorite shots, I took over 1,000 images during the event so it was hard to choose what I would share. But these are from the message drop, where teams would drop objects out of the plane, onto the runway on a target. The closest team to the target wins. It was my favorite event, the people pictured in this are from San Diego Christian College. It was pretty neat to experience this event, I hope you enjoy!

Advertisement Photography for BLF

While I was in France part of my work at BLF (Bibles and Literature in French) consisted of taking pictures for the catalogue ads for the books on sale. It was really fun because I got to be creative and do something I love for the mission organization-photography. Here are some of the shots I took with the lovely models in the print shop. I had a blast taking pictures with them, I hope these!

Update on Work Life

Hello Everyone,

Well I think it is about time to let you know again what is going on at the shop.. We have been working hard finishing up the comic book Bibles and I am happy to say we have them 99.9% done. There is TONS! If I guessed about 50,000 books that were made while a team was here two weeks ago. They were all so much help and it was a real blessing to have some extra hands. As of wednesday the 8th I was assigned a HUGE task with the photography aspect of the shop. My boss met with one of the website and graphic designers and gave me a huge list of things to do photography wise. Ever since then I have been shooting and editing my brains out of multiple different things from documenting shop life, to product photography to catalogue and website portraits. It has been very challenging for me and tiring but I am so thankful to feel used. It is going to be a packed couple of weeks doing photo shoots and editing plus my travel photography and blog I am editing like 24-7. Besides my eyes hurting it has been so much fun! I am no professional or claim to be one but heres some of the shots I just did for BLF.. Hope you enjoy!
